We had the pleasure of meeting Ryan and Lindsay, during a recent trip they made to Michigan from their home in Chicago, for a winter engagement session in Traverse City. They were a lot of fun, a really gorgeous couple, and we're excited for the opportunity to work with them again at their wedding in Frankfort this summer.
Thanks to all who stopped by our booth at the Fox Hill Bridal Show last weekend. We had a great time chatting with future brides, showing off some of our new products, and networking with the vendors. Despite the yucky weather, we had a successful turnout! It's that time of year for us to take a much anticipated break from photo processing and editing to focus on updates and revisions. Our high speed weddings site has recently been stocked with new work, and 2010 pricing and custom package info is now available. Sometime in the next couple of weeks we will be doing the same with our html portraits site. Also on the list.....considering logo changes, designing and ordering new promotional materials and sample products and spiffing up our portrait studio with some fresh props, fine art canvas and gallery wraps, and maybe even a new backdrop or two. In the meantime, we're excited to see our 2010 wedding season calendar filling up with what will surely be another batch of fun and beautiful events to attend. Thank you so much to everyone who supports us, for another successful year. Can't wait to see what 2010 will bring!
Brent and Amanda's beautiful December 12th wedding in Cadillac was complete with Christmas trimmings and winter traditions. The weather was sunny and mild enough for some outdoor photos at the First Congregational Church-and sleigh rides and fireworks at the Cadillac Grill. A great ending to our 2009 wedding season!

We shot Chris and Tabby's wedding a few years ago and were happy they tracked us down to schedule a family session with their beautiful baby girl, Marley. Marley wasn't too into having her picture taken and was more interested in exploring our studio. But we still managed to get a few keepers...

Tom and Jenny's wedding day was sunny, rainy, and snowy! They were married October 10th at St. Ann's Church in Cadillac, with celebration following at Caberfae Peaks Ski Resort. Working with Tom and Jenny was like hanging out with friends. They were so down to earth and fun-another one of our wedding couples that made us feel like we'd known them for years.
